Author seats are unlimited — your trainers, your L&D leads, your org admin all count as authors. Trainee seats are billed per active trainee per month: a trainee is 'active' if they were assigned at least one assignment in the billing period. Inactive trainees don't get billed.
Yes. The upgrade keeps everything in place — your decks, modules, docs, assessments, brand kit, audit log. Enterprise typically begins with a paid pilot on Team while we walk the procurement conversation through DPA, security, and SSO. No re-implementation.
There's a 14-day free trial on Starter and Team. No card required. After the trial the workspace becomes read-only until you pick a plan — nothing is deleted.
Authoring isn't metered: trainers can compose as many decks, modules, docs, or assignments as the team needs. Heavy operations that incur real cost — TTS narration generation, image generation, MP4 export — are credit-metered so a single trainee doesn't accidentally burn a month's budget. Yes. The most common asks are SSO with the customer's IdP (Okta, Azure AD, Google), per-region data residency commitments, custom retention windows for audit logs, and an annual security review with the customer's security team. We don't charge separately for the integration work on plans that justify it.
From the org admin's billing page. Your data stays accessible read-only for 30 days post-cancellation; you can export decks, modules, docs, and the audit log as CSV during that window. After 30 days, content is deleted per the retention policy at /trust/data-governance.
